Engaging Before Sunset is set in Dumbo, Brooklyn where a woman is taking photo's of couples walking in the park. She encounters a mysterious stranger who delivers a message from an old love interest. The stranger leaves her sitting on a park bench, only to go outside the park for an even deeper conversation with someone else.

Taken from the feature film Engaging which is still in production, this short film gives a nice insight into the depths of the main charactors and the emotions instilled in anyone whom has experienced a passionate relationship. Engaging Before Sunset  stars Angelique Monét, Chiko Mendez,  Angel Salazar, Joe Manuella, and Noel Torres. The film was recently screened during the Cannes Film Festival 2010 in the Short Film Corner. Angelique Monét is the films writer, producer and co-director. P. J. Galati is the co-director, co-producer, director of photography and editor for the project.
